On October 10, 2023, Head of the Political-Economic Section at the U.S. Embassy Podgorica Scott Parrish, participated in a handover ceremony for 28 individual houses across the territory of Montenegro, as part of the implementation of the Regional Housing Program (RHP). Alongside the European Union, the United States is a significant contributor to RHP, which was established to offer long-lasting housing solutions to vulnerable refugees and displaced individuals in the aftermath of the conflicts that took place on the former Yugoslav territory between 1991 and 1995.
