We like to say that the Access Program is more than an English learning program. Last night we certainly lived up to that statement. Ambassador Uyehara welcomed a group of Access Program Podgorica students and teachers to her residence.
She talked to the students about one of the most prominent aspects of the U.S. culture – diversity – highlighting Asian American traditions with the an example of her own family. Students then had an opportunity to try out making sushi and check out their chop stick skills. Such a fun evening!
