Do you have a business idea that you would like to share with the world?  Opportunity is knocking, so let the U.S. Embassy know about it!

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) is coming to Europe June 4-5, 2019.  GES is the premier annual gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, and innovative thinkers that underscores U.S. commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation.  The 2019 GES will be held in partnership with the Dutch government at the World Forum in The Hague, Netherlands.  Approximately 2,000 participants will be invited to the summit, including 1,200 entrepreneurs, 400 investors, and 400 thought leaders and officials.  This year entrepreneurs who participate in the 2019 GES will be selected through an open application process, which launched Monday, December 17, 2018.  The online application for entrepreneurs can be found on the GES 2019 website at www.ges2019.org. The new deadline is March 1, 2019.

The 2019 summit will focus on driving innovation through entrepreneurship and bringing together entrepreneurs,  investors, innovators, policy makers, global brands, and thought leaders from around the world.  GES 2019 will feature the following five focus areas for innovation: (1) agriculture, (2) connectivity, (3) energy, (4) health, and (5) water.  During two days of dynamic discussions, pitch competitions, and matchmaking sessions, GES 2019 will showcase inspiring entrepreneurs, forge new collaborations and opportunities for investments, develop concrete business ideas, and accelerate solutions to global challenges.  The agenda will include a diverse array of fireside chats, plenaries, workshops, opportunities for mentoring and networking, and the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) Catalyst pitch competition (http://www.gistnetwork.org/Content/gist-catalyst-pitch-competition).

Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
