Closing Ceremony of the Regional Cross Border Cyber-Crime Investigations Course

US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Bix Aliu presided over the closing ceremony of the Regional Cross Border Cyber-Crime Investigations Course held in Podgorica, Montenegro. The course was sponsored by the United States Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) Program and conducted by the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) instructors.

The 5-day training focused on cybercrime investigations for Law enforcement agencies involved in combatting cross border crime.  A total of 21 participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro had the opportunity to exchange best practices in investigations involving cyber and internet based violations, as well as the preservation and handling of electronic evidence.
