On April 20, 2015, the US Embassy Podgorica Rule of Law Section, funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), delivered computer equipment to the Basic Courts in Zabljak and Pljevlja. This equipment will allow faster access for judges to the court system, and with that, also better and faster delivery of justice. As part of the equipment, INL provided sets of laptops and mobile printers to be used by judges when working in remote areas in the north part of the country.
INL, through the US Embassy in Podgorica, provides continuing support to the judicary with training activities, expertise and equipment transfers. The aim of these activities is to improve rule of law in Montenegro, provide better access to justice to its citizens, and help Montenegro with Euro-Atlantic integration.
