The Embassy of United States to Montenegro, in cooperation with the Montenegrin Association of Prosecutors and the Center for Training of the Judiciary and State Prosecution, organized a conference on cross-border crime cooperation March 11-12 in Budva.
This conference is the sixth in a series of cross-border crime conferences, and it included government representatives from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo.
These conferences foster linkages between judicial and law enforcement authorities that lead to concrete arrests and prosecutions. Ambassador Judy Reinke, Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stankovic, and the President of Montenegrin Association of Prosecutors Veselin Vuckovic expressed their full support for ongoing rule of law reforms in Montenegro.
