On March 30, 2015 Charge d’Affaires B. Bix Aliu delivered remarks at the opening of ICITAP’s (International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program) “Uniformed Patrol Techniques for Police Managers” training course at Montenegro’s National Police Academy.  This course will present an overview of modern police patrol concepts in support of the Montenegrin Ministry of Interior’s pilot project to introduce proactive police patrols in Podgorica.  Police participants in this course will be the managers and supervisors of this new patrol unit.

This Department of Justice, ICITAP training course is part of U.S. Embassy Podgorica’s long standing program of justice sector assistance to Montenegro.  The wider goal of this project is to promote the rule of law.
