- Are PCR and/or antigen tests available for U.S. citizens in Montenegro? YES.

- PCR testing can be done at COVID ambulances and is free of charge IF you show COVID-19 symptoms.
- Private labs are available to conduct PCR testing and it costs approximately 50 euros. Antibody testing can be done in private labs. Costs vary 20-25 euros.
- Results are provided via email address provided to the lab. Please note that you should consider taking the original test result from the laboratory which will include a lab stamp as travelling without it may cause problems while crossing the borders. For scheduling and costs, please contact the labs from the list below.
- Masks are no longer obligatory EXCEPT in the following areas: all health care institutions, public transportation and collective accommodations. I all other settings, wearing a mask is recommended, but not mandatory.
- All limits in the number of people attending public events have been removed.
- As of March 11, 2022 no proof of vaccination, COVID-19 passports/certificates or COVID-19 tests are required to enter Montenegro. This measure is subject to change and the page will be updated as soon as the new entry requirements are announced.

*** Effective December 6, 2021, all airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within one calendar day of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the United States may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel. Country-Specific Information
As of May 12, 2022 the Government of Montenegro has confirmed that there are currently 593 active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) within its borders. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 236,076 cases have been identified in Montenegro which includes those recovered, currently active and those who have passed away due to the virus. On December 16, 2021 the Montenegrin Institute of Public Health confirmed that Omicron variant is present in country.

- Are vaccines available in Montenegro for U.S. citizens to receive? YES. Available for U.S. Citizen if they have legal residency in Montenegro.
- Which vaccines are available in Montenegro? Sputnik V, Sinopharm, AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech. Supplies are subject to change as the government acquires them from different sources.

Fines for Non-Compliance
- Precautionary measures have been introduced to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. People found to be in violation of the regulations can be fined and/or arrested and sentenced to up to a year in prison.
Consular Operations
- Consular section is open for routine ACS services. Visa services are available for all non-immigrant applicants. We are currently offering as many non-immigrant visa appointments as local conditions, resources, and safety considerations allow.
