The United States Embassy Podgorica, in cooperation with the Judicial Training Center and the OSCE Mission, will host a two-day conference March 12-13 entitled “Cyber Terrorism and New Cyber Threats in Montenegro.” U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission B. Bix Aliu, OSCE Deputy Head of Mission Dan Redford, and Executive Director of the Judicial Training Center Maja Milosevic will speak at the opening of the conference in Przno, Budva on March 12.
The aim of the conference is to discuss both the use of internet for recruitment purposes by extremist organizations and also terrorist cyber-attacks on information systems as new cyber-crime trends, as well as to exchange best practices in the fight against these developments. The conference will also focus on international cooperation in this area, primarily on challenges in cooperation between Montenegro and neighboring countries.
The conference at Hotel Maestral in Przno, Budva will commence on Thursday, March 12, at 10:00 a.m. Media are invited to attend the opening remarks.
