EducationUSA Hosts Virtual College Fair for South Eastern Europe

The Embassy, in collaboration with the State Department-supported EducationUSA Advising Center housed at the American Corner in Podgorica, was slated to host its annual U.S. college fair in April in Podgorica.  As the COVID-19 pandemic forced the in-person fair to be cancelled, the EducationUSA Network will host the first ever Virtual U.S. College Fair for South Eastern Europe on June 4 and 10.

The fair will provide an opportunity for high school and university students to learn more about higher education opportunities in the United States.  Representatives from 23 U.S. universities will provide information about their programs and admissions process, as well as answer questions from students and parents. In addition, EducationUSA advisers will share information about the services these centers offer on a regular basis to students who would like to study in the United States.

The virtual fair is open to participants from Montenegro, as well as from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.
