EducationUSA Advising Center Podgorica, in cooperation with the Embassy of the United States of America in Podgorica, will host a U.S. College Fair at Hotel Ramada, Millennium Congress Hall (Mall of Montenegro), on Friday, April 8, 2016, 17:00-20:00. The U.S. College Fair is part of the EducationUSA Southeastern Europe Recruiting Tour which also included similar events in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
The fair will provide an opportunity for high school and university students to learn more about colleges and universities in the United States. Representatives from thirteen (13) U.S. universities will provide information about their undergraduate and postgraduate programs and talk about possibilities and advantages of studying in the United States. In addition, EducationUSA representatives will share information about the services EducationUSA Center Podgorica offers on a regular basis to students who would like to study in the United States. Ambassador Margaret Ann Uyehara will visit the fair at the beginning and will make a statement. Media interested in her statement should be at the Hotel Ramada, Millennium Congress Hall (Mall of Montenegro), on Friday, April 8 at 16:40.
This U.S. College Fair is part of a wider collaborative project between the U.S. Embassy and Education USA Network supported by the Department of State. The goal of the project is to promote university study opportunities in the United States for international students. This is the third Southeastern Europe Recruiting Tour which EducationUSA Network organizes in the region, but the first one ever to include Montenegro.
