Participants had an opportunity to hear from the U.S. Embassy Resident Legal Advisor Erik Larson on the topic of “Practical examples of the application of the European Convention on Human Rights – Undercover Operations and Pre-trial Detention.”  Other speakers at this event were the President of the Supreme Court Vesna Medenica, Minister of Justice Zoran Pazin, as well as other judges and prosecutors from the Supreme Court, Office of the Special State Prosecutor, and the Podgorica Basic Court.
