Law Enforcement Assistance Programs Support Regional Workshop on Transnational Organized Crime

The U.S. Embassy, through its programs on law enforcement and prosecutorial assistance, recently connected representatives of the Montenegrin National Police Directorate and Montenegrin prosecution and judiciary to a regional event on prosecuting transnational criminal organizations.

A total of three online events will be conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), relying on participation from Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Croatia. The first event examined plea bargaining and the use of cooperating defendants in complex criminal investigations.
