Adea Kalac from Rozaje, Neda Bulatovic from Podgorica, Hana Lluka from Tuzi and Ivana Buric from Bar are just several of students from Montenegro who are currently in the United States on one-year high school FLEX exchange program supported by the State Department.
Together with other FLEX students from the region, this week they visited Washington DC as part of a one-week program which provides an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of some of the key concepts and values that are an integral part of U.S. society and culture.
Participants learn firsthand about the U.S. federal system of government and other important concepts through seminar discussions, briefings, and meetings on Capitol Hill.
