On October 5, 2023, a U.S. Education Fair was held at Hotel Hilton in Podgorica, as part of a wider collaborative project between the U.S. Embassy and the EducationUSA Network, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State.
The fair provided an opportunity for high school and university students, their parents, and teachers from Montenegro to gain valuable insights into educational opportunities in the United States. They had the opportunity to talk with representatives of eight U.S. universities, including Ball State University, Burlington VTest, Green River College, Troy University, University of Central Missouri, Valencia College, Rochester Institute of Technology, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, as well as EducationUSA representatives and U.S. Embassy representatives who presented information on exchange programs funded by the U.S. Department of State.
Ambassador Judy Rising Reinke opened the fair, thanking the organizers as well as all visitors for their interest and engagement, which made the event a success.
