On January 15, Ambassador Margaret Ann Uyehara, together with DCM B. Bix Aliu and the U.S. Marine Detachment representatives from U.S. Embassy Podgorica, delivered toys donated by the U.S. Embassy community to children hospitalized at the Children’s Hospital of the Clinical Center of Montenegro. It was a great way to wrap up the holiday season and bring joy to those who need it most.
The mission of the ”Toys for Tots” program, run by the US Marine Corps around the world, is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season and distribute them to needy children in their community.
