U.S. Embassy Podgorica hosted a training on procedures for the prevention of domestic violence in Montenegro, with an emphasis on law enforcement responses.
The Embassy’s rule of law programs, ICITAP and INL, sponsored this training, which gathered police officers, prosecutors, judges, NGO representatives, and social workers.
The focus of the training was Montenegro’s recently adopted Protocol on Procedures for the Prevention and Protection against Domestic Violence and its implementation in practice.
