Passport Renewals

Adults (age 16 and older)

  •  Submit current or expired U.S. passport
  • If most recent passport was issued within the last 15 years and when you were age 16 or over, complete form DS-82. Otherwise, complete form DS-11.
  • Present one valid proof of ID, such as a valid passport of any country; a valid driver’s license with photograph; a valid national identity card with photograph; a valid U.S. or State government ID card; or a valid U.S. military ID card.
  • Provide one color photo, sized 5 cm x 5 cm, taken within the last six months, full face, front view with a plain white background. Remember, no eyeglasses please!
  • Please see Consular Fees. The fee for this service is paid at the time of your appointment at the Embassy, in cash or by credit card. We accept both U.S. dollars and Euros.

 Children (under 16)

  •  All applicants (children) must appear in person accompanied by both parents.
  • Submit current or expired passport
  • Complete form DS-11.
  • Submit notarized DS-3053 if either parent cannot be present.
  • Present proof of parent-child relationship, such as: Minor’s original U.S. birth certificate with both parents’ names; Minor’s Consular report of Birth Abroad; Adoption decree with adopting parents’ names; Court order establishing custody; Court order establishing guardianship*) All foreign documents must be accompanied by an English translation (formal). Present parents’ valid IDs
  • Provide one color photo, sized 5 cm x 5 cm, taken within the last six months, full face, front view with a plain white background. Remember, no eyeglasses please!
  • Please see current Consular Fees. The fee for this service is paid at the time of your appointment at the Embassy, in cash or by credit card. We accept both U.S. dollars euros.
