In December 2018, U.S. Embassy Podgorica, in cooperation with the Center for Training in Judiciary and State Prosecution organized two rounds of trainings for judicial trainees from the Montenegrin prosecution and courts.
These two three-day workshops covered a range of topics related to criminal proceedings and the Montenegrin Criminal Procedure Code – a crucial part of the Montenegrin Bar Exam, which is a prerequisite for all future judicial officials. These trainings represent another example of the U.S. government’s continuing support for rule of law reforms in Montenegro.
